Winnipeg, Manitoba, it is a city like no other; built on a promise of new beginnings, yet it was haunted by many a tragedy.

In the glory days that have long gone by, Winnipeg and Manitoba were heralded as the gateway to the new Western Frontier - The Canadian Wild West, if you will, was born. Here lies mystery and an entire world that many in this day and age have completely forgotten.

HOWEVER….. from that level of knowledge, they understand and appreciate when others have had interactions with the paranormal and as a result remain - OPTIMISTIC SKEPTICS. They set out to find the truth of origin stories to local hauntings and re-tell those urban legends as well as host guests in the Pod Lounge; like-minded Individuals who share their own stories and adventures with the Paranormal.

New Episodes out weekly!

The first Giving Up The Ghost Podcast (GUTG) episode was released out to the world January 2019. As we approach our 5th Year Anniversary, it has been a rollercoaster of emotions between family members passing, Pandemic lockdowns and our own bag of ailments.

We have been amazed and honoured to be received by the people ‘Who Get Us’ and share the same love for the Paranormal that we have.

GUTG is downloaded in 43 countries, and we have had appearances on several other podcasts, local TV and Radio programs, and most recently we were interviewed by the Winnipeg Free Press.

When we started this podcast in 2019, there were approximately 700,000 podcasts worldwide; in 2023 there are around 4.25 million podcasts to choose from. Everyone, celebrity and their dog seem to now have a podcast.

At present this is a ‘volunteer’ podcast as Jas and Sher agreed, that they will only do the podcast until it is no longer fun - As there is no money in Podcasting….or is there?? we shall find out. Thank you for listening……. and REMEMBER…
